Hey, don't forget, we have PERSONAL BLOGS AND USER PAGES now where you can have your very own BLOG, post private or public photo galleries that will be seen only in your user page area. There are many "Gadgets" you can put on your personal page and create your very own "Buddy" lists too. At this point there is no moderation of these pages unless we get a complaint about content which is a violation of our board rules.

Looking for a few good moderators
Posted on: 04-18-09 02:15 PM     Posted by:

Truckers Road has launched a strictly political web site that has nothing to do with trucking or Truckers Road Forums.

What I'm looking for are a few (very few) good communicators who would like to moderate and help build the site. You do NOT have to be connected with the trucking industry, but rather have a deep love for this country and want to help make a difference.

I will expect the moderators to do the following.

  • Promote the site
  • Create new topics
  • Reference outside news sources
  • Put forth new ideas for content and forums
  • Find and post relevant political photographs (as long as no copyrites are infringed upon)
  • Keep some semblence of order to the discussion
  • Participate in "brainstorming" with the Admins on content and new ideas
  • Assist in promoting the site whenever and wherever possible

If you are interested, please send me a Private Topic and we can discuss it further.

What would you like?

Since we are an Alpha testing site, we have the opportunity to interact more directly with the developers of this software.

What I would like to do, is get some suggestions from you, the members, as to what improvements, features and other fun stuff you would like to see written into it. So, if you would leave us a post on your ideas, I'll pass them along and who knows, you might just see one of them on here sometime in the future.
