Rest area closed indefinitely
Posted on: 07-09-10 09:32 PM     Posted by: GregK

<br />
Due to issues with the well at the EB I-94 rest area near MM 97 in Battle Creek, MI, the MDOT has closed it indefinitely until those issues can be cleared up.

For drivers heading through there, there are truck stops at the 104, 110 and 112 exits on I-94, along with one near Coldwater on NB I-69.

Also, the Walmart in Coldwater at exit 13 does allow overnight parking for rigs and the truck stop at the Tekonsha exit, the Teh-Kon has reopened under new management.

Be careful out there and keep it between the ditches.

What's going on?

If we look a bit different to you, it's because we have decided to consolidate several forums together to reduce 'clutter' and hopefully make it easier for people to figure out where to make a post. We've also dropped some forums as they either weren't in the keeping of a 'trucking forum' or again, were confusing.

We hope you like it and if you have any suggestions, but all means let us know.

Don't mess with this 5 year old

Since we are an Alpha testing site, we have the opportunity to interact more directly with the developers of this software.

What I would like to do, is get some suggestions from you, the members, as to what improvements, features and other fun stuff you would like to see written into it. So, if you would leave us a post on your ideas, I'll pass them along and who knows, you might just see one of them on here sometime in the future.

I just want to let you know that if you haven't registered on here (IT'S FREE!) you are missing an awful lot of good things. For instance, you won't see the Games Links, the Chat Room Link, the Classifieds Link or the new Trucking Jobs Link! There are a lot of features on here available only to those who register an account. We do NOT spam anyone, nor do we collect and sell any type of personal or NON-personal information. What information we do collect is only for use on Truckers Road.

So, REGISTER, it doesn't hurt and you will get to meet a lot of very nice people. Of course, if you are only here to cause problems your stay WILL be a short one.
